Tano South MP, MCE joins Muslims to end Ramadan

The Deputy Ahafo Regional Minister who doubles as the Member of parliament for Tano South Benjamin Yeboah Sekyere together with the Tano South Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) Collins Offinam Takyi  joined Muslims in the area to mark this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr at Bechem the capital of the Tano South Municipality.

Led in prayer by the Deputy Chief Imam for Techimantia, Alhaji Osman Fakih, the Muslims offered prayers to mark the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.

Benjamin Yeboah Sekyere delivering an address called on Muslims to sustain the virtues of the period of fasting, urging the Islamic community to live in harmony and to cultivate at all times the peace seen during the Ramadan fasting.

He further assured that government remained committed to the welfare of the Muslim community and his office as the legislator for the area together with the Tano South Municipal Assembly under the stewardship of Collins Offinam Takyi were working assiduously to address challenges facing the Muslim communiy with emphasis on the various deplorable roads in the municipality.
