The Majority Chief whip in Parliament, Lawyer Kwasi Ameyaw Cheremeh is advocating for support for youth into Christ discipleship in the country.
He believes this will help safe guard the future of the country.
“I had so many schedules but for the sake of the youth I decided to forgo some and attend the programme because they are the future leaders of the country. They deciding to tone this lane is a plus for the country because the future of our dear nation is safe in their hands” he explained.
“Let’s continue to support them in all their endeavors when it comes to disciplining, because you know their youthful exuberance will help get more you on board. I believe this will also curb the pace at which some youth engage in violence and other social vices” he added
Speaking on theme “Intensifying our teaching ministry for disciple making, the young person in focus” at climax of the 11th Biennial Circuit Conference of the Sunyani Circuit Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF) held at the Wesley Methodist Church Sunyani, the Member of Parliament for Sunyani East, Lawyer Kwasi Ameyaw Cheremeh stressed on the need for stakeholders in the country to support activities of Christian youth group citing examples as the MYF stating that this is core to fasting the future development of the country.

The Second Minister for the Sunyani Wesley Methodist Church, Rev. Jonathan Oppong Amankwah delivering a sermon called on Christians in the country to desist from swayed by miracles with the proliferation of fake pastors in the country.
“The holy ghost is not an active force as some
think but rather he is a divine person. That’s the divinity I’m taking about. This
is why some Christians now rely much on the sale of different kinds and colors of
anointing oil” he noted.
