Mr Michael Nsiah-Agyapong, headmaster of Sunyani Senior High School, has bemoaned the unfair treatment meted out to the school by the Ghana Water Ghana Company Limited in the Bono Region, claiming the phenomenon is militating against the effective flow of water in the institution.
He conceded the Water Company could not be 100 per cent perfect in discharging its duties but the authorities of the school could not bear the situation so had to break ties with the service of the Ghana Water Company Limited.
The headmaster was speaking to the media at the official commissioning of a water project initiated by Sunyani East Member of Parliament who doubles as the Majority Whip in Parliament, Mr Kwasi Ameyaw Cheremeh to help address the water challenge facing the school
He explained that the pipe connecting the school was sometimes deliberately disconnected by the water company without any genuine reasons.
Meanwhile, the matter is before the Public Utility Regulatory Commission (PURC) for proper scrutiny, the headmaster added.
Mr Nsiah Agyapong expressed profound gratitude to the legislator for the gesture.
