Former Ghana Blackstars defender Samuel Johnson has chastised Dr Kofi Amoah chairman for the Normalization Committee for going public on Sulley Mutari’s request to join the squared to Egypt for the AFCON.
His assertion according to him will pile pressure on the Black Stars coach James Kwasi Appiah to include the later during his call up even against his wish.
Speaking in an interview with Ark Fm’s Sports Center host Alhaji Alhassan Yahya Sammy Foyoo as affectionately called noted, though Muntari may deserve a call up into the squared, however the public revelation by Dr. Kofi Amoah will create doubts among the Ghanaian public should the coach extends invitation to Sulley and Kelvin.

“This is a player who was clubless but now playing regularly but I think the final decision is in the hands of the coach. I have told Kwesi Appiah that Kevin Prince Boateng is a good player but the coach has the sole authority any play of his choice ahead of the AFCON.
Meanwhile Sammy Foyoo believes the call up of the duo solely depends on the coach who has been tasked to lift the trophy but advised Kwasi Appiah to consider their input whether to call them or not.
The ones Accra Hearts of Oak player again added, it is time government and the sports ministry looked at monies paid the players as motivation. He is of the view the amount involve is nothing to write home about if the country is hungry for the trophy at this year’s AFCON
