Kotoko Will Lift Ghana’s Flag High In Cameroun – Former CEO Jarvis Peprah

A former management member of Kumasi Asante kotoko, Mr. Jarvis Peprah has said Asante Kotoko will beat Cameroonian champions Coton Sport in the final playoffs of the CAF Confederation Cup competition on Sunday.

Mr. jarvis Peprah is confident that the team’s performance against AshGold at in the Kuffour Cup on Sunday shows that the team is well prepared for the game.

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko will face Coton Sport of Cameroon in the playoff round of the 2019 CAF Confederation Cup.

Kotoko will play the first leg of the two legged affair away on the weekend of 11-13 January, 2019 and then host Coton Sport in Kumasi on the weekend of 18th to 20th January, 2019.

Mr Jarvis Peprah in an interview on Ark Sports Centre hosted by Alhaji Alhassan Yaya also known as ‘The Executive’ on Thursday, 10 January 2019,said Kotoko will not disgrace Ghana, but will raise the flag of Ghana high by winning the first leg in Cameroon.

Patience for Coach C.K Akunnor

Mr. Jarvis Peprah is however urging supporters of the club to give coach C. K Akunnor time to settle in the team adding that it is too early to write him off.

This follows reports that some angry supporters of the team are plotting to chase away the coach of the porcupine warriors from the team’s training grounds for non performance.

The team has been training under heavy security protection following the reports.

It will be recalled that the same ‘Seidu’ led a charge in a similar fashion to prevent Zradvko Logarusic from training his team while he was a coach of Kotoko.

Irate fans of Kotoko have already started complaining about the style of play of their team to put undue pressure on Akonnor who has been at the helm for just three months.

“This is not the right time for us to discussing our coach, but we need to con concentrate of our big game ahead of us”.

He says the club should be firm in dealing with this notorious fan called Seidu once and for all.

The former administrator said even though Seidu’s plan of attacking the coach didn’t materialize, Kotoko still have to report to the police and make his pictures available at all the gates at the Baba Yara stadium to enable the police to prevent him from coming close to the team.
