President Akufo-Addo Starts 4-Day Tour Of Central Region

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will begin a four-day working visit to the Central Region, beginning today, Friday, 14 September 2018.

During the visit, Nana Akufo-Addo will inspect and inaugurate some projects, especially those under his flagship One District-One Factory (1D1F) porgramme.

He would inspect a potato chips and bread factory as well as a 300-acre potato farm at Gomoa West District.

Mr Akufo-Addo is also expected to inaugurate a 20MW solar farm project at Gomoa Onyaadze in the Gomoa West District.

Additionally, the president will inspect the Komenda sugar factory and the Peterfield citrus factory and also cut sod for the tourism enclave redevelopment scheme at Elmina.

The president will also attend a durbar of chiefs of Gomoa Akyempim and Ajumako traditional areas at Apam.

Mr Akufo-Addo will then join the Methodist Church at Swedru to worship.

He will wrap up his visit with another durbar of chiefs of Agonaman at Swedru the after the church service.
