The Ministry of Health (MOH) has today presented an Anaesthesia machine to the Bechem government hospital.
This is to facilitate the delivery of quality health in the hospital which also serves as a referral center for residents in the Tano North and South Municipality and its environs.
The Member of Parliament (MP) for Tano South, Benjamin Yeboah Sekyere presenting the machine to the authorities at the hospital said, this forms part of numerous measures to be implemented by the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo’s led government to improve upon the delivery of quality health in the country.
He says the government is aware of the low standard of health delivery in some rural areas in the country thus delivery of health equipment.
The Tano South MP who doubles as the Vice Chairman for the Local Government and Rural Development Committee in parliament touching on the status of health in the Tano South Municipality noted that there has been an improvement but there is more for government to do.
He says the Tano South Municipal Assembly together with his office as an MP has refurbished majority of CHPS compound in the area which is dominated by farmers.
Mr. Yeboah Sekyere however reiterated his commitment to improving upon the standard of health in the Municipality as he believes this will help fasten the development of the newly created municipality.
