Ranking member for Constitutional Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee, Hon. Inusah Fuseini has described the president’s nominee for the office of the Special Prosecutor as a man who is uncontrollable. According to him, Mr. Martin Amidu is fervent in the fight against corruption no matter where he finds himself and whom it’s associated it.
He said this in an interview with the media when commenting on the 7 hours vetting of Mr. Amidu with 185 questions. Office of Special Prosecutor (OSP) law passed by Parliament in November last year has been seen as a major boost to Ghana’s anti-corruption fight.

Fulfilling his 2016 promise, president Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has set up the office of the Special Prosecutor to assist in prosecuting corruption cases which Mr. Martin Amidu has been named to occupy the position.
